Rapper Lil Jon's Son Passes

It was recently discovered that Rapper Lil Jon’s son was found dead on February 3rd, 2026. Nathan Smith, known as DJ Young Slade, was spotted leaving his home late at night a few days prior. He appeared incoherent and disoriented.

Milton Police released a statement confirming that officers had responded to the report of a missing adult in the area of Baldwin Drive in Milton. On February 6th, 2026, a diver with the Cherokee County Fire Department discovered a body in a pond near his home. The confirmation was pending for an extra day. Police later announced the devastating news that the body discovered was that of Nathan Smith, who was 27 years old. There was no indication of foul play.

After the news surfaced on the internet, music mogul Lil Jon took to social media to pay his respect to his son, stating he was extremely hurt, followed by a series of photos. There’s no evidence of foul play; his death is not yet ruled.
