Pfizer announced this morning that a vaccine would be available that is 90% effective. Dr. Albert Bourka, Pfizer CEO called the results a “great day in science and humanity” The vaccine was created by Pfizer and German partner BioNtech. The vaccine is efficient after two doses within 7-days.
Pfizer says by the end of the year, there should be enough doses to immunize 15 million to 20 million people. Operation warp speed promised Pfizer nearly 2 billion dollars to deliver 100 million doses to America for free. Worldwide, we’ve lost 1.2million lives due to Coronavirus and 240,000 in the U.S.
